Your participation

1. Will my taking part in this study be kept confidential?

Yes. All procedures have been approved by the Ethics Committee in the School of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences. You will be asked to complete a brief demographic scale (e.g., gender, age, years in the profession etc.) but no personal information that discloses your identity is requested.

According to university regulations (Code of Practice for Research), following completion of the research, all data will be preserved and accessible for ten years.

2. What will happen to the results of the study?

The results of the study will be reported in undergraduate dissertation thesis, presented in academic conferences and published in academic journals.

3. Can I withdraw from the study?

If you wish to withdraw from the study, please contact the main investigator (Dr. Kyriaki Makopoulou – k.makopoulou@bham.ac.uk) quoting your unique participation number - given on completion of the survey.

Please contact Dr. Makopoulou by the end of March 2015. You can withdraw for any reason and you will not be asked to explain your reasons for withdrawing.
